| Santee Headquarters | An automated weather station was established in November 1992 at the SEF headquarters. Data for hourly average air temperature, wind speed and direction, solar radiation, photosynthetically active radiation (through November 2000), relative humidity, maximum and minimum relative humidity, and total rainfall are available starting in January 1996. Data for average net radiation and calculated average vapor pressure are available starting in April 2003 (when the recording interval also changed to 30 minutes). Historic daily air temperature and rainfall data are also available from this site starting in 1946. Corrected daily average air temperature data are available starting in 2002. |
| Turkey Creek | An automated weather station was established in October 2005 near the headwaters for the Turkey Creek watershed (WS 78) on the Francis Marion National Forest. Data for 30-minute average air temperature, soil temperature, wind speed and direction, solar radiation, relative humidity, maximum and minimum relative humidity, total rainfall, and calculated average vapor pressure are available. |
| WS 80 Above Canopy Tower | An automated weather station was established in March 2010 above the forest canopy on an approximately 30 meter tower on WS 80. Data for 15-minute average air temperature, soil temperature, wind speed and direction, solar radiation, net radiation (starting in September 2010), photosynthetically active radiation, relative humidity, maximum and minimum relative humidity, maximum and minimum air temperature, and calculated average vapor pressure are available. |
