Abstract:

The dataset indicates the stands within the Santee Experimental Forest based on 1990 inventory. The coverage was completed in 1996 from a combinations of the the stands_89 and stands_83 datasets with changes where applicable. The dataset was completed by Cindy Bunton with input from Michelle Wren and Bill Harms in 1996.

Purpose:

The purpose of the dataset was to create a more up-to-date version of the stands_89 dataset, which was possible with current knowledge of the forest and results from inventory data. The dataset was completed by Cindy Bunton with input from Michelle Wren and Bill Harms in 1996.

Supplemental_Information:

Feb. 2012: Metadata edited for SEF Database.

The stands lines were taken from a combination of the stands_89 and stands_83 datasets with some more lines added based on current knowledge of the forest and the results from inventory data.
